Yamaha YZF-R1 gets Anniversary paint job.


Yamaha Europe chose the 2015 Bol d’Or endurnace race as the place to unveil this stunning Yamaha YZF-R1 in 60th Anniversary colours. Over the past 60 years, Yamaha have designed and manufactured some amazing bikes, most of the best ones have displayed the by now iconic speed block paint scheme.

Technically, the bike remains as good as it already was, which in case you didn’t know was pretty fucking amazing. You’ll be able to buy your Anniversary colours Yamaha YZF-R1 in stores from early December.

Does anyone else get the feeling Yamaha need to hire some riders with a little bit more MotoGP about them for photoshoots like this? This guy looks like a track day hero.
