Triumph Production moving to Thailand?

Lads I have been reading rumours that Triumph production is moving to Thailand. Is there any validity to this and if so any ideas if and when this is occuring? 2009 models?

As far as I recall Triumph moved some production to Thailand three years ago. Can't say I've read or heard of any horror stories since. Honda has been building bikes in Brasil and Italy for a while too and people still bang on about 'Honda build quality' as well, so...

I did hear a rumour/story that the new Fireblade was being built in Italy though, rather than Japan. Anyone hear anything similar or is this 'Chinese' whispers?

True some production has gone here but if this move keeps Triumph alive so be it as its a tough market.
