The VTEC makes the valve clearence check rather expensive with some dealers.

That's about all I know, O and the reg/recs can be dippy from time to time although they are much better than they used to be.

Don't ride it like you would a 'Blade!

Linked brakes are one thing it has in common with my Blackbird.

If you were anything close to "spirited riding" with the Fireblade, you may fing the VFRs linked brakes a bit disconcerting for a while.

It's not so much the rear coming on a little when you grab the front, it's more the fact that when you are braking hard on the front, and then tread on the rear brake, for a split (unsettling) second it feels as if nothing is happening.

Naturally, I don't ride fast enough to really notice....

--------------------
The simplest questions are the most profound. Where were you born? Where is your home? Where are you going? What are you doing? Think about these once in a while and watch your answers change.

cheers guy's, i've gone and done it(and without a test ride )....VFR arrives next Tues, hope i don't regret it, at least the wife will be happier she can now get on the back of a bike with a little more comfort...
Not really that concerned about the linked brakes as i had a Pan last year and it didn't bother me that much.
If i don't enjoy the ride i can always buy another blade or maybe even try the new Honda if they ever bring out a replacement Blackird/VFR/Pan........
