It's all drugs and torture mate.
They have all spent their entire lives in torture camps on drugs that will kill them young for the express purpose of winning a little lump of fake gold.
F'ing sad I reckon.

That's athletics for you all over the world it's all about drugs now cept the Yanks, Chinese and Eastern Europeans are worse/better at it than most. Ever wondered why our Athletes go over to the States to train got fuck all to do with facilities and more to do with better drugs that stay in the system for less time and no testing. I will add I don't have direct knowledge but my other half's ex had a brother on the Olympic team and this came second hand from that source.
Olympics s'all a crock of shit IMO. I used to train at the same time as a National level cyclist at a gym in Bexhill and he was open as were most of the guys there re Performance enhancing drugs and he admitted it was easy to get around drug testing most of the time. You can get drugs to lose weight, gain weight, train harder, sleep better, heal quicker maybe ever piss straighter. it's available to inject take orally and even as a fucking suppository for all I know.

I kind of assumed that.
I have thought for ages that they should just let athletes use whatever they want.
It would be more realistic. Kinda.
The I guess whover was willing to destroy their health the most would be more liekly to win.
It would come down to a balancing act between winning the medal and dying before you could run/swim that final. And get on the podium I suppose.

That Phelps guy seems to be a very talented drug taker.
I'll be laughing when he gets caught, if ever.

I don't know To be honest, the only Olympic sports to be on my TV have been Equestrian. I have had absolutely no interest in any of the goings on I have seen "athletes" appear on TV but have ignored them.

Australia is sport obsessed so you can't avoid it here unless you stick your head in the sand.

Nah, it's 'cos they're a bunch of greedy fat plonkers.
Most Aussies are straighter than a straight thing.
