+1 to that.

A true giant in racing, a huge loss.

True that, a great champion has passed away.
Great to see Rossi dedicate his victory to Colin, who was his friend.

R.I.P.

AHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
I haven't watyched the race yet!
we did agree some time ago that if we posted race results we would put SPOILER in the title so people who hadn't seen the race could avoid them.
First mr Biggles in the Rossi thread telling me Stoner had problems with his clutch so I guessed he didn't win, which TBH i should have expected and now you in this thread thanks .

Whoops! Sorry to be the party pooper.
Didn't know all the above, so my sincere excuses there Chappers...

Edit: don't read the "Is Rossi back on form?" thread then, it's gonna spoil things even more

Ah, well the cat's out of the bag as far as Estoril goes then.
Chappers, you're just gonna have to take take time OUT of your busy Sundays to watch the races at the proper time!

I knew Rossi was into Rallying, but never realised that he and Colin McRea were friends. I always hate it when guys who've put their lives on the line repeatedly in the name of their sport meet their end in such circumstances. I understand that his son may have been a victim also, and I really can only imagine what the remaining family members must be going through right now.

My thoughts, and those of any true sports fan, are with them now.

The simplest questions are the most profound. Where were you born? Where is your home? Where are you going? What are you doing? Think about these once in a while and watch your answers change.

What's done is done guy's still going to watch it.
Colins 5 year old son was in the helicopter as was a 7 year old boy and his father.
Sad turn of events maybe choppers aren't a good idea for motor racers first Steve Hislop now Colin Macrae.

Me too

The race was on at midnight here and I have/had to get up at 5.00am today so recorded it.
I missed the rossiform post on purpose but now this.
Fuk.
I hope it was a good race and not just a procession or I will be pissed.
Luckily I don't know where you live,
oh yes, and we have an entire planet between us.

Hey Kenny, we need a tongue-in-cheek smiley.

Sorry folks.
I had no idea about the embargo on talking about the race, particularly as the thread had got round to predicting it's outcome.

If I miss a race I don't look at *any* media.
