With all the info from the others posts/threads-Am I correct in understanding that here we are just over mid-way through the 08 season that these are the "confirmed" main MotoGp factory teams for 2009
Yamaha-Rossi/Lorenzo
Honda(Repsol)-Pedrosa/Dovzio
Ducati-Stoner/Hayden
Kawasaki-Melandri/?
Suzuki-?/?

Definitely confirmed, until the truth is known anyway.

Melandri and Hopkins will be team mates and I'm guessing Cappisrossi isn't going anywhere Whereas I've heard rumours that Spies will be joining Gresini.
Some offical gumph on Melandri Kwak Tie up, there is also a rumour that Jorge Martinez (Team Aspar) is looking to run a Kawasaki MotoGP team next year so there may yet be a seat for Ant West either there or WSB or WSS.

I think I heard somewhere that Vermueluen might be heading for Bayliss seat in WSB, I hope not though as I think he's worthy of a competitive motogp ride

That mole on his cheek needs to go though.
I can't keep my eyes off it when he's on the podium.
It must be slowing him down surely?

Seems I may have been wrong about Spies and the Greshini ride in fact any MotoGP seat, must be due to his riveting performances on the Rizzla Suzuki or it could be due to the fact he chickened out of the Assen ride when he was offered it due to Capirossi's condition.
