finally Honda treat Hayden honorably and make their bike a little bigger.
And what do we see straight away.....
Go Nicky.

Hopkins so much faster than West on his first ride.
Oh dear Ant! Maybe not really up to mixing it with the big boys after all.

Capirossi looking good on Suzuki.
Lorenzo looks like he's gonna shine.

So is the Kwaka a cracker? Or a crap Kwaka? Is it a crackerjack Kwaka?

Can you say the above really fast?

Shall I just leave now?

The simplest questions are the most profound. Where were you born? Where is your home? Where are you going? What are you doing? Think about these once in a while and watch your answers change.

I understand that Ben Spies did a 1:34.8 so was faster than the Suzuki test rider first time out. Is that true?

Does anyone know when Yamaha will switch to Bridgestones? That will be the real test of their speed for 2008.

I wonder how Marco Melandri is feeling right now? Left for dead by not only his new team mate but the new riders on the satellite team bikes! Tiger Tony is almost a whole second a lap faster and Marco was beaten by Guinters as well.

Rossi is the only Bridgestone rider. All others are on Michelin. Rossi wasn't riding at the test because of his hand.

I'd heard that rumour but it can't be true: neither Michelin nor Bridgestone would allow each others tyres to back to back in the same team.

Well that's as it was as of Valencia........it was only for Rossi, I suppose we will see.

Thinking about it though, all the customer Honda's are the same, but aren't some teams on Michelins and some bridgestones, granted they are different teams, but still the same spec bikes...

It's been on the official MotoGP web site and in several magazines so I'm guessing it is true.
They will just have a wall between the two riders teams, which is probably what Rossi wanted anyway.

Apologies.
Its true Fiat Yamaha are running Michelin and Bridgestone tyres.
Wierd.
You would have thought neither manufacturer would be happy with the situation. What's more one of them is going to be deeply unhappy by the end of the 2008 season.
