Cadwell Park-BSB(not a spoiler)
      #31029 - 26/08/2008 12:56

Ive just managed to see the vid of the 2 races at Cadwell Park and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I never got round to having a trackday there but after seeing the onboard shots of Tom Sykes going over-is it called "The Mountain"?- I dont think I would have the bottle-(especially after seeing Leon Camiers crash last year as well) It is very scarey. I take my hat off to anyone that does a trackday there

Its not fate itself that is so frightening
Its the expectation of fate that frightens

I do not know anything about Cadwell but is it more scarry than Paddock Hill Bend? If it is I do not want to go there! Paddock Hill scares the living shit out of me. I stood there and watched the braking point for the R6 race boys and then around the corner! NO FUCKING WAY! Those boys have the balls of King Kong!

After waching this weeks BSB meeting I've changed my oppinion of Cadwell Park. It's much safer than when I did a trackday and novice race there the trees at Hall Beds have gone and there is grass on the trackside instead of a tyre wall at the Hairpin. when I was there if you fell off chances were you'd hit something pretty hard.
As for Paddocks one of the best corners anywhere brake about halfway between the crest and pit exit, turn near the slip road and apex late, Paddocks is all about the drive up to Druids. Well thats the theory .
As for the Mountain the first two laps I did there were fun good wheelies (GSXR750) but the third I nearly flipped it not wanting to slowdown I spent the rest of the day standing on the pegs leaning over the forks wishing I had a thumb brake, looked crap worked a treat.
