Routed: Publish your fave road!
      #24933 - 23/04/2008 16:45

SuperBike needs your help!

What is your favourite road? Come on, we all have one. And the 'Your Space' section, at the back of the mag, is all about sharing your favourite stuff.

Send us the name and location of your favourite route, in the UK or abroad, together with about 200 words explaining why it's such a fantastic road - and we'll publish it for all to enjoy.

And we'll even muster up some kind of freebie for every route published. Can't say fairer than that, eh?

Email 'em in to: dbfreelance@hotmail.co.uk

Cheers!

3-4 months worth of time warp mr S? lol.
Do they send a delivery boy on a new bike they had in to deliver them via scotland?
Kill 2 bird's with one stone sorta thing? - Test ride a new bike and deliver T-shirt's at the same time!
P.S. Any SB staffers reading this, could you please find out where my T-shirt has got to???

Tank,

As per my email, your T is on its way, I assure you.

I can only blame the infamous Welsh border controls.

They were probably short 10 pence
£5.10 for going in to Wales - why on earth do they not round it up or down or even take a fukcing credit card?

they are back in the dark ages.

Mate, found a FUCKING SUPERB ROAD.... up in the Elan Valley, good roads full stop, but the road from Rhayader to Beulah is amazing . Really well posted with Chevron boards on the bends....Utterly bloody brilliant. I drove it in a car unfortunately, it'll be awesome on a bike.

Twists and turns all over the place , Proper Knee down bends if you like that sort of thing, I'm gonna ride it as soon as I get a Chance too!!

Please be carefull when riding the twisty roads of Wales as my artic full of logs nearly took three heads of as three bikers came round a right hand bend with their knees down and their heads overhanging the whitelines i wish i could of seen their faces as they nearly broke their necks whilst trying not to hit me. Any road near llangadog is good and if you go north out of Bala towards Traswfynydd (I think i spelt that wrong?) it is like a rollercoaster but watch out for hiding police cars around the resevoir. Also if your going into Bala on the same road stick to the 30 as a little camera van likes to sit in the lay-by opposite the school.

GOOD ADVICE ! My cousin had a coming together with an Artic in Mid Wales,he went under it JUST .....on one of his local roads...he's still riding, but has Emigrated to Scotland, Aberdeen way......he always was a bit strange!

As TIMO says though, the roads are good in Wales but HGV's and allsorts use the biking routes...Iv'e come around a bend myself being a bit cheeky and have had to swerve around a broken down Tank, ( For the spotters on the forum it was an FV432 Command Vehicle..fucking Artillery...Dropshorts!) The Army are always around in South and Mid Wales...they don't move fast...and your average dull 18 year old doesn't give a shit where he parks, he's armoured your not and the Army's insured by the Queen! My attitude when I was that young and stupid....

You cheeky bugger. I'm older and more sensible now.....I've lost the veneer of invincibility...and now have a beer belly instead, or as I prefer to call it..My organic crash protection system..

It's not a beer belly, it's a liquid grain storage facility

Hey, shiny.

Check out your Welsh roads in the latest issue of the mag.

Or are you still not buying it?
