Who's up for organising a massive ride into london and bringing it to a complete standstill???

That might make downing street take stock of the situation.

Not exactly a hard thing to do there eh?

I had a thought about I.S. this a.m after his comment on your little man..

I think he has fun seeing if he can wind people up.
He may well not be as nasty as he makes out.

On a monday morning you'd probably only need about 10 bikes to bring Sterling's corner to a halt, then slowly ride into London.

I'm sure IS can defend that too.

Thats the trouble though, you buy a new bike and pay VAT on it. Then you pay for road TAX, then TAX on the petrol you put in it, VAT on parts and servicing, it's never ending.
But on the up side all that money is being put to good use, our roads are well surfaced and there are always plenty of traffic cops around (no need then for any speed cameras, yet another TAX?)

Not according to 118118!! (can someone lend me a tortoise to see if they're right?)

Trouble is , they are cutting the number of Traffic Cops.......Who are generally pretty sensible people TBH.......And are replacing them with cameras, cameras are always on duty, don't have to be paid overtime, don't argue with the Home Secretary about Pay etc......

This Government has shot itself in the foot...where I live you could have stuck a Red rosette on a Donkey and called it the Labour candidate, it would have been elected.

Old Miners who WERE Labour will not vote for them now! In the South Wales Valleys the staunchest of supporters are finally seeing this Labour government for what they really are.......It's only a matter of time before things change.

And it comes down to the little things like speed camera's!!! People are asking why the police aren't around....and why is there a funny Yellow box at the end of the road..........when the ticket lands on the door the language down the pub that night is Blue !!!! It's the little things that add up....
