Via the Beeb-the most dangerous road is the Cat and Fiddle with the majority of F and S accidents being bikers. Ive never been on it and only have heard about it so I dug deeper into this latest piece of Nus. Well its all down to Stats as usual-but what concered me was some of the figures quoted ie 20% at Junctions???? That rings bells for all of us Im sure.When did a bike last pull out of a junction and cause an accident? So it must be the other way round-car pulling into path of bike? If so take that out the equation and thats a 5th of the total out the window  Next-20% head ons Kenny P in an editorial once said in this context we really are killing ourselves. 13% run offs-another scary figure but WTF is 47% Other?? Covers a multitude of sins and since its the largest figure you would think they would explain it-no, cant find anything about it  Any Cat and Fiddle pilots care to comment? On the other hand the A259(Hastings/Eastbourne) came 8th with over 50% being at Junctions. Im not sure if someone is trying to paint us blacker than we should be

The A259 runs through Bexhill and Little Common the average age there is knocking on 70+ and they all drive hunched over the steering wheel peering out of the windscreen at a heady 25mph.
Eastbourne is no better all Blue Rinse central, the road between the two locations has just one 60mph limit a clear straight road with few junctions unlike the A259 between Hastings and Brenzett good fun bit of tarmack that is a favorite biking route.
I used to work in Little Common, one moring walked out of the shop to almost be run over by a pensioner driving an invalid carrige flat out on the pavement. 
I think you can draw your own conclusions, I was surprised when I first heard the claim but after some thought it fit's.

I've ridden it once, both ways. It's a lovely bit of road. Take a look on Youtube. The 'problem' with the junctions on the Cat & Fiddle is that they are often between corners or behind crests. And if you pile round a corner with your knee down, and find a bunch of people having the temerity to actually use a junction on your private race-track while you are riding it, then collisions will result. I'm sure that the Cat & Fiddle has its share of wank drivers, but no more than anywhere else. However, it attracts motorcyclists who want to ride it from all over the country, and the run off at the Cat & Fiddle is one of solid rock, a dry stone wall, oncoming traffic or a long drop to the valley floor.
So in other words, it's good fun but extremely unforgiving of errors. No do-overs.

Yep Hastings, St Leonards part of Bexhill and some of Eastbourne are riddled with smack and crack heads. So if some senile twat don't get you some junkie in a stolen/untaxed/uninsured motor will. Identifying the driver is an essential survival technique Generally you watch your ass for £50 motors or Fords (easy to nick) or reasonably decent cars with fucking loud music in hastings and St leon and old gits in flat hats around Little Common indicators can be misleading.

Bit of a challenge then. 
Australia is a bit dull in comparison.
The population is so cowed by the MASSIVE fines for everything that they behave really well.
Only real prob here is that for some reason everyone feels that the time to indicate is as you turn. It's almost universal.
They just introduced a possible $5500 fine for being annoying.
Can you fucking believe it?
The full story is that World Yoof Day (that roman catholic cult) are coming to town and the fine is if you annoy any of them.
But we all know how these things work eh?
Once it's in they will find a way to use it if I flip the finger at someone with connections.
It makes me want to go down there and annoy the fuck out of them.

Now that's an offence that could have some uses here. Trouble is what I find annoying and what the great all seeing 'they' find annoying are two completely different things.

It ain't really as bad as I painted but they are the dangers you need to be aware of.
Take the fine to the human rights commission, it's everybody right to be annoying, that's why our forefathers died fighting two world wars for(mine didn't he was on the other side:o). I'm going to go out and fucking annoy someone just cos I can now.

The Church of the Blessed Choir-Boy Molestor? Lovely. However, I think you have that wrong, Makka. For a start, the mere fact that you exist will cause great annoyance to the smiley, happy-clappy, holier-than-though, ring-thing, no-sex-before-marriage-apart-from-buggering-small-boys, christian-love-for-everybody-except-the-people-we-decide-to-persecute-to-death Sky-pilot yoof types. So of course the fine is for being caught annoying them. Which is entirely different, as I'm sure you are aware.
So for example, showering an open-air gathering of the judgemental holier-than-thou hypocritical preachy wankers with 2000 gallons of liquid pig shit from an agricultural muck-spreader is absolutely fine, both morally and legally, provided that nobody catches you doing it...
