It seems a sad fact of life that the Beeb(again) have little interest in the latest historical biking event-ie young Scotts achievement. I went on their BBC World website(sports section) and it didnt even make the opening page-Lewis Hamilton??? yes-Football-of course-eventually found it in the top righthand section of the screen(other M/sport)-about forth or fifth line down-so in all its was about 10 or 11 in the line of importance, I recall an Editor of a bike mag calling the Beeb ages ago and asking them if they knew that Britian had a new motorsport world champion(Foggy) No the Beeb didnt know The Beeb will always pay lip service to bike racing IMO-always have and always will

You didn't seriously expect any interest in the fact that we have a Brit who actually wins anything from the BBC or any of the main media, did you?
No they weren't interested in Foggy (and fuck knows he can big himself up), Hodgson, or Toseland, when they were world champs so Redding merely winning a GP has no chance.
Much better to give all the coverage to a bunch of losers (Hamilton excepted - at least he wins races occasionally), now it's Wimbledon we'll get a load of coverage for even more losers and don't start me off on that bunch of overpaid, moaning, rolling-on-the-floor, cheating, excuse making, bunch of poofters otherwise known as footballers.
I'll stop there before I go into a full blown rant and upset makka before he has his tea.
