2000 yz 125 problem

right then thought i would go out for a play on the crosser seeing as its raining got half way into the feild and i thought i had left the fuel tap off cos it die as if i had no fuel but no tanks on theres fuel in there?

got in back in the garage now and fuel flows freely so popped out the plug to check it and the crow the piston crown looks fine and the plug looked good wet but good cleaned it up tryed again no nothing.

so come on any ideas lads (chappers i know u will know ) please its to wet here to take the gixxer out and im bored want to play on the crosser

Have you shut off the fuel and drained the carb after every days riding?
Due to the fact crossers get little use leaving the float bowl full of fuel can cause you grief as the fuel will evaporate over a period of time leaving a nasty residue that can clog up the works it may also be worth checking if it has a float bowl filter to see if that's clogged.
that's one possibility it could be flooding for possibly the same reason.
Has it got a spark? best way to check is hold the plug and kick the bike over if you jump back about 5-6 feet then it's fine. Any less than that you might need to swap plugs.
Ohter than that could be anything and with out seeing the bike can't really suggest anything else

think we might of found the problem had ne spark so found a sv650 plug laying about as u do (not on the other half bike hehehe )put the cap on it gave it a kick and bingo 1 spark so guessing the plug is dead but wont know till tomorrow when gear4 is open as no other bike shops in the area stock a plug for a yz never mind if it cures it was thinking a the worst as u do thanks for the help chappers think i will clean the carb out while its fresh in my mind
