Bank Holiday in S.Wales
      #31084 - 27/08/2008 18:21

So, shiny, tank, Ken.....

Anybody brave the shite weather last weekend and enjoy the delights of the A40/A470/A4067/A4059?

Lots did - I was the guy in the black Grand Scenic with the roof box, moving over to let the bikes pass.
And occasionally nearly rear-ending the traffic in front when craning my neck to look at various bikes (RC8, numerous new 'Blades and, yes, the odd 'Busa).
Kinda wished I was on mine, but wouldn't have relished 200 miles in driving rain to get there, and the same coming home.
Must talk to the wife about getting a van.....

--------------------
The simplest questions are the most profound. Where were you born? Where is your home? Where are you going? What are you doing? Think about these once in a while and watch your answers change.

Mate,
Your better off with a boat at the moment around here.....
I went to pick the bike up from Sean at South Wales Customs in Ponylottyn this morning.....Having MOT , new chain and Sprockets (Cheers for the advice Chappers) Oil and filter change and Braided Brake lines...But the bike hadn't been done!!! Shop was closed and no signs of it opening..

Not Sean's fault really though, one of his kids was ill and he lost my phone number, so couldn't let me know unfortunately.....getting done first thing in the morning though..

EOD...EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL....

Is a science of vague assumptions, based on debatable figures, derived from inconclusive experiments performed by people of doubtful mental capability, with instruments of problematic accuracy....

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day....
Teach a man to fish.........................................and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!!

Last time, and the only time, I went to Wales (2002), I came away with 3 points and £60.00 worth of drinks out of pocket. To this day I don't know why I got flashed. (must have been speeding but it's a first) So, after 37 years safe riding with a clean licence, and no problems since ... ya can keep the bloody place.
Been Flashed in Wales?

Yes
No
