This is the result of my Oct 2006 70-80mph rider and crash barrier interface, apparently the head xray shows I had swelling to the brain. Unfortunately nobody took pictures of the 60 odd stiches to my face.

I've sufferd more than my fair share of broken bones, internal injuries and months in Hospital which includes being brought back once thank you very much Shiny. So I don't think you need to make smartarse comments regarding a little bit of Witch Hazel.

I had to be brought back in A&E after that accidentand spent a couple of days on a life support machine have been asked by a couple of people if I saw a white light , if I did ,I dont remember it , didn't even know who I was or what my name was for a couple of weeks. Funny thing was when I was aware of my surroundings hallucinated that the bike was parked next to my bed and that the nurses gave may a bollocking for doing a rolling burnout in the ward.

You lucky lucky man. One of the guys who tagged along in our riding group had an off and ploughed into a guard rail also. Poor fucker´s in hospital having his sternum re-attached, lungs drained, spine re built etc.
Glad to hear you´re still in one piece.

No piccys but still a bit of a laugh-in 1985 I was knocked off my bike on a roundabout-I was in the outside"lane" and ahead of a VW Beetle who was on the "inside" lane. He changed lanes and kissed my rear tyre. I tried to correct it by sitting the bike up and steering up onto the kerb. The kerb was to high so the bike stopped dead, over I went and it landed on me left leg(bad break involving subsequent bone transplant and titanium plate) All this sounds mundane until I tell you I was on the Standard BMW 1000RT Pork machine(fully marked) Beetle man promptely sodded off-HOWEVER this was the weekend Hells Angel meeting nr Asford(Kent) and(so Im told) the accident was witnessed by a couple in a Fiesta and 4 rather nice chaps on choppers who promptly headed off after the VW while Fiesta couple stooped for me. The local Police found Beetleman tied to the bumper of his car and in need of medical attention to the kicking he seemed to have received from someone He was pissed as in 3 times over the limit(hence not wanting to overtake me on the roundabout)was already on 1yr ban for drinkdriving and had no insurance. He went to prison-I got a shit load in compensation but never found out who my guardian "Angels" were.Takes all sorts-queue remarks like" Huh I would have not bothered-its only a pig"

That could have been the Kent Custom bike show they were going to, They may well have been from the Kent chapter, the club house used to be in Northfleet.

Sweet outcome mate.
Non biking slightly related story. An ex friend of mine was shot five times and had his skull fractured for a mistaken ident by a mob of police. (He was mistaken for David Martin if that means anything to you) Got himself a nice flat in Hamstead out of the compo and has been moving up ever since leaving intensive care! Hope you got something nice too.

Yup, yellow mini. Sounds like you did way better out of it than he did. Nice one.
But then...
He settled out of court because he was on the way to score some smack in the car with his dealer of the time who was also an acquaintance of Dave Martins who the police were following (don't tell the police this will you immy), so the police had some pretty good reasons to make the mistaken identity. If he'd gone to court they would have used all this and he might have ended up with nothing.
Still a little excessive though. The final skull fracture was from a pistol whipping once he was lying unconscious half out of the car bleeding profusely from all the gunshot wounds, the worst of which entered his stomach and exited under his armpit on the other side.
I never liked the guy.

did you know that the armed officers used a total of 3 mags(6 and 1 in the spout) and they hit him twice(I think) so where the fuck did those other rounds end up I know some were in the car body work but hey cracking shooting chaps

He had five bullets in/through him that I know of.
Heat of the moment eh?
He was sitting back seat left side and fell out of the drivers door eventually. Identified on a quarter rear profile, not too good eh?
But Martin had already shot one policeman so I guess they were a little "nervous".
