A very twisty road with challenging corners and no run-off except very solid armco. And 90% of the people on there are going to be travelling faster than you. Much, much, much faster. And 10% are going to be dawdling around like they are on a Sunday drive. A certain small percentage of them may be upside down, on fire, in the middle of the track when you come round a corner. If you crash on the ring, there is a very high chance of dying or suffering a life-changing injury. I've been twice, ten years apart, and both times the circuit was closed during the brief time I happened to be there for an extended period to clear up fatalities.
