When I was younger the 1%ers embodied everything that was motorcycling to me freedom, brotherhood, flipping a finger to authority and doing it all on two wheels, altho I and they have changed since then.
As an outsider, the HA have always struck me as having more in common with the mafia than with any MCC I have direct experience of.
However, I'm sure that that's merely a failure of perception on my part...
