Excuse me, but that's bollox.
Colin Edwards brakes at the exit from the pit lane which is pretty much on top of Redgate.
200m would have him hitting the brakes at the old pit lane entrance or even before.

...and see where the rider brakes. It's a 990 M1 from 2006, apparently, so probably Vale or Colin, but the braking point won't be that different and it's way earlier than I expected. Mind you he's doing over 160mph when he brakes, and I doubt there are many mere mortals arriving at Redgate doing that kind of speed - if they were they'd probably shift their braking markers back a little as well!
