Norfolk 'Bike' Speed camera - a hoax??

Not that I'm a sceptical bastard but I'm beginning to think us Norfolk bikers might be the subject of a hoax.

Earlier this year BBC East ran a piece about the local tax collectors, sorry, I mean safety camera partnership having camera vans that could nick speeding bikes. It did this by having additional cameras that track a speeding bike as it passes via two cameras on the side of the van and then record the number plate with a forward facing one at the front.

Thing is I've been past several vans this summer and none of them appeared to have the tell tale camera bubbles on the side of the van. Neither have I been subject to a NIP which I think is more telling. So any other Norfolk bikers or visitors noticed these things yet or was the whole thing a propaganda hoax? Any ideas?
