Re: Norfolk 'Bike' Speed camera - a hoax??

Where i live in Germany, the local authorities operate there own moblie speed camaras, more so that the police force. They also publish in local newspapers what areas will be targeted by these cameras at certain times (not giving exact locations or timings, just the area and time period). This helps in a way as it means that a large number of people will be aware that their area will be targeted, therefore tend to drive more carefully. Some may argue that giving this information is a bad thing.

The question is, do the authorities in the UK do anything like this? If not then i believe they should, causing a large number of people to drive slowly as they are aware that a camera could be just around the corner is better than just catching drivers in the act.........prevention is better than cure.
