It is uncommon these days. I took my youngest to hospital when he cut his head open and the nurse on the desk asked his address then mine, she was quite surprised when she found out that we all live together. Even standing in the school playground and listening to other people it's surprising how many are divorced with young kids.
I feel quite chuffed that I've spent so long with my missus and have 4 kids, were all happy and have no intention of splitting up, although you never know what the future will hold.
She let me buy a new bike recently, and even let me put my old one back on the road after I crashed it. She was even watching when I had my heart attack. I think she was more scared than me though.
