I have just put down another batch of beer.

I had a good chat to the bloke who runs the Homebrew shop, he's put me straight on what I've been doing wrong...Sugar to feed the Yeast is BAD...

Bugger...

I have now got all the proper bits to feed the Yeast to ferment the brew properly...

It's more sodding complicated than it first appears...

Sugar will feed the yeast, but will give a tangy, almost chemical aftertaste.....

You have to buy a mix of various things (All pre done) Bitter has a different mix to the Lager etc...

My Baby, is now next to the computer , under the stairs, in the warm and dark, fermenting away nicely.....needs about 6 weeks to mature..oooh, just before Xmas, that's damn good timing!!!
