I have just put down another batch of beer. ![]() I had a good chat to the bloke who runs the Homebrew shop, he's put me straight on what I've been doing wrong...Sugar to feed the Yeast is BAD... ![]() Bugger... ![]() I have now got all the proper bits to feed the Yeast to ferment the brew properly... ![]() It's more sodding complicated than it first appears... ![]() Sugar will feed the yeast, but will give a tangy, almost chemical aftertaste..... ![]() You have to buy a mix of various things (All pre done) Bitter has a different mix to the Lager etc... ![]() My Baby, is now next to the computer , under the stairs, in the warm and dark, fermenting away nicely.....needs about 6 weeks to mature..oooh, just before Xmas, that's damn good timing!!!
