Anyone have any reviews on capanord. I have just bought 2003 with 6000 miles. Is there anything I should look out for. thanks

I looked at buying one once so I researched it. The mechanicals are detuned Mille, and it's basically a Futura on stilts, so it works and the bits are no harder to come by then any other Aprilia bits (so a bit variable, then...). I've not heard anybody who bought one slagging it off, but they only sold about three in the UK - in fact I believe that On Yer Bike in Aylesbury ended up with a load of unsold CapoNords that they pulled in from other dealers who had been stuck with them, and they may still have some even now...

Think 'Italian Varadero', apparently.

I'd tell you what it was like to ride, but I couldn't get a test ride for love no money, so despite it being cheap as chips compared with a BMW GS or a Varadero, I crossed it off the list...

Oh, right... you've ALREADY bought it! Sorry, I should learn to read...

6,000 miles in 5 years? It doesn't strike me as a 'Sunny Sundays Only' kind of bike, though... I wonder what the story there is?
