Right mate....
I got the 2nd batch of beer..and it's bloody strong!!! I put it into bottles instead of a pressure barrel, it's cleared nicely..a little bit of an aftertaste due to the sugar used....I'll use Glucose and malt extract next time..but it's really drinkable......
Flat as a pancake bitter..no head on it...but it tastes nice...

I have just put down another batch of beer.
I had a good chat to the bloke who runs the Homebrew shop, he's put me straight on what I've been doing wrong...Sugar to feed the Yeast is BAD...
Bugger... 
I have now got all the proper bits to feed the Yeast to ferment the brew properly...
It's more sodding complicated than it first appears... 
Sugar will feed the yeast, but will give a tangy, almost chemical aftertaste.....
You have to buy a mix of various things (All pre done) Bitter has a different mix to the Lager etc...
My Baby, is now next to the computer , under the stairs, in the warm and dark, fermenting away nicely.....needs about 6 weeks to mature..oooh, just before Xmas, that's damn good timing!!!

Did you come round then?? I know I started early...but I didn't think I was that pissed...
Had fun yesterday...Rememberance day in the Local British Legion, and a pair of PIKEY'S come in trying to flog an obviously nicked camera... 
The look of surprise on their faces when they got jumped on by 12 pissed up ex squaddies and got battered to fuck by a couple of the Lads who until just recently were still serving members of the Parachute Regiment!!!!!
Moral of the story...don't steal, it'll hurt!!!!

I am ...put a porter down yesterday...it's not quite a Stout and not quite a Bitter...but I've flavoured it with Honey.......Initial tasting, albeit on my fingertip, and it hasn't matured yet, it's very nice and very smooth.....Not getting opened until Xmas morning though.....However I will be putting another Cider down, as it's easier to increase the Alcohol content.
