http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7478823.stm personally I dont really believe the BBC could post this but then again remember the Norfolk Cam Van fraud? It just concerns me that a certain forumite picky pickyed opinions on this issue about bus lane use claiming it didnt effect us-well now the very same social group claim they are picked on??

If thats the case bikers are picked on too , there should be motorcycle lanes and seperate traffic lights for us too.

I agree with these nutters, the rules of the roads are against us too. I think the speed limit for bikes should be 175 mph, I also think it should be okay to do stoppies at lights and zebra crossings as well as legal to wheelie away from the lights.
There should also be a 'pot luck' stage at traffic lights where it's okay for a biker to go if he thinks he can make the gap. If it's rush hour we should be able to ride on the pavements and it should be compulsory to get your knee down at every roundabout.
That's all I can think of for now but I'm sure I'll come up with a few more. A re-write of the highway code for bikers, that's what's needed.

And there should be a third stage of the lights for bikes to let the cars get a bit of a start.

Does anyone else hate the use of the word "antisocial".
It doesn't appear to mean anything and just gets thrown in anywhere these days. It is this goverment's buzz word.

your correct in one sense-its the current buzz word, defined as"opposed to the laws and customs of an organized community:causing annoyance and disapproval in other people" which covers about everything and is open to abuse in relation to its definition. Who has the right to define it? I think Caravanners are antisocial in their behaviour on the roads as do thousands of others but they dont get tarred with the brush us bikers do-thats why it can be applied to any and every situation. The cyclists openly admit their behaviour is antisocial, but nothing happens-its all in the eyes of those who do the defining and which part of society they come from

By saying causing annoyance and disapproval in other people isn't concrete though because different things annoy difference people.
For example people that drag their feet as they walk really boils my piss, so by definition that's anti-social behaviour. Perhaps I could get them an ASBO, hmm.
I still think is an ill thought out term, just gets slapped onto everything, no matter what you do someone somewhere will find it annoying.

Aaah! So glad i'm not alone there, and talking with a mouthful of food too. I could quite happily remove teeth slowly with a pear of pliers for that offence, such a disgusting noise and puts me off my own food.
