Tips on fitting Aky can to CBR1000rr7
      #28782 - 02/07/2008 21:27

I have recently purchaced a CBR1000rr7 blade and have decided splash out on a Akrapovic slip on can. I've spoken with a couple of people who have said that i need to cut or discard two cables attached to a unit on the side of the link pipe. I'dont want to be cutting anything, as when i decied to upgrade, i shall return it to standard. Anyone got any advice on this matter?

I guess you mean the cables for the exhaust valve?

To be honest it's probably going to be better if you email an importer or Akra directly, they'll probably know what you can and can't get away with better than me.

i fitted a full system to my rr6, you dont have to cut the servo motor cables, just secure them out off the way with a couple of cable ties
hope this helps

i fitted the Carbon akr. to my 07 bike, pretty straight forard, tells you what to do in the instructions, just have to disconect them and store them until you return the bike to standard.
