right boys and girls i am having a carefull rethink about what happening with my little gy 125 . first of all lets get the slagging out the way i know everyones view on chinky bikes aint great but hey ive had laods oy jap bikes and this is the one i have for the time being. The bike itself is a chituma gy 125 its a copy of the popular xr 125 model made by honda. now before you all go ohhhhh naaaaa dont waste time or money on it i will add now the only thing thats orginal left on the bike ois engine and forks the rest is gone subframe , crappy swing arm heavy wheels etc , reason being that i bought the bike in a right state of my mate for $150 notes lol and the thing was out on the road for about 3 weeks before issues like rattley panels snaped sporcket speeds. so right now its sat in my shed on a bench with jsut frame minus wheel base , forks and subframe lol. the question is this i have a fmf pipe , higher reving cdi unit and also a 28 m flatside carb of a mates dt that i intend to fit to the bike . now being a trusty 4t the way of tunning bits is scarce sol what are my other options im going for a supermoto bike (please stop the lol now ) and would like to invest some money into it to show what can be done with a bit of thought. also by the of chance that any of you guys may have a set of tzr wheels 125 , 250 either dont mind I(must be later solid 3 spoked version ) please let me know . cheers

First off if the pipe and cdi are off the DT ain't going to work DTs a two stroke expansion chambers don't work on four strokes CDI are bike specific so you are fucked there either way unless you are an electronics wiz as for the carb good luck getting it set up.

i know what you mean about the cdis etc i unerstand that stuff , the cdi unit is built for the xr loom and engine also the fmf pipe is of a 4t , how ever i have decided to chuck the 4t engine in the bin lol as i have got my hands on a nice tzrr engine to gointo it , thats if i dont bother jsut chucking the frame and buying a dt frame and goning for a nice dt supermoto with yz forks and the like and roo be fair thats problerley a better idea anyway il have to have a think about it
