ACF50
      #31824 - 10/09/2008 22:44

This stuff is shit hot!!

I take the bike to a custom bike shop, and Sean the Owner showed it to me, I had Salt corrosion on all my fasteners and the engine looked like it had a small sheep attached to it, it was that furry... ( I will take the Sheep jokes....we fuck 'em, you eat 'em..that's why they taste slightly salty!)

He plastered one side of the bike in WD40 and he put a TINY amount of ACF50 on the other side

Within 2 minutes of this ACF50 getting sprayed on, the engine was corrosion free, it's superb ...not cheap though, I'm paying £15 a go,
But One can will last at least 6 months....

I was going through a big can of WD40 a week....at nearly a fiver a time...

Do you need to keep it off of brake discs?I understand that its not a good idea to get wd40 on your discs or your tyres.Or can you spray it all over your bike without any worrys?

i wouldn't put it on your discs if i were you!!!!!!!!1

WD40 is a lubricant, and you don't want that.

There is cleaner that you can buy specificly for your brakes and discs. Ask any bike shop and they'll have some.

DO NOT STICK IT ON YOUR BRAKES OR DISCS....YOU WILL NOT STOP!!!!!!

It's very slippery, makes WD40 look like superglue....the US NAVY use it to protect their F 15's...

I thought it was Army Cadet Force.............

What would they need an advanced lubricant for?

It's now on my shopping list for this winter, along with some heated grips!!! (or is that sacrillage on a GSXR 6000??!!!)

NOOOOOOO!!! Comfy warm hands are gooood..

You really do need a LITTLE bit of ACF50.....strip the fairings off and spray the hard to get to bits!!!!

All you need to do then is wash the bike with cold water...The pamphlet that comes with the tin will explain it better than I can.....I swear by the stuff now.

If it's good enough for the US Navy's F15's..it's good enough for my 'Busa...

Ask Tank how I got his wheel's WHITE again.......And why they've stayed White..instead of a neglected shitty Grey colour....

ACF isn't cheap...but it does what it says on the tin............

TBH the Busa was a bit of a mess, the previous owner hadn't looked after her properly...once she had ben stripped down, and we could see what was what..

26,000 MILES on the ORIGINAL chain and sprockets.......Fucking idiot!!!
New TSUBAKI chain and sprockets on now..
Rear brake fucked.....collapsed front bearings...etc...

For the General maintainance and making the bike look nice though the ACF is superb..I don't use anything else on the bike now TBH...EXCEPT a bit of elbow grease..

there was an offer on it in MCN two weeks ago about £3.20 per can if you bought two-might have been a offer from ?Busters?-cannot remember, but it was part of a large central spread ad.

Edit:
found it-Buy two for £3.98 (ref AACF50) and save £22 from busters-tel 0844 248 8185

If anyone's in the Heads of the Valleys area, South Wales Customs in Pontlottyn sell it, the owner of the place, Sean......Top bloke...

Tore my bike to pieces.....and didn't rip me off..refused to let me ride out of the shop with knackered bearings, got a lift home for me instead.....

Loads of respect for the bloke....... I won't take the bike anywhere else now.
