No Shit. WARNING..... This is extremely graphic, you have been warned. In fact I wouldn't bother, wish I hadn't. I'm surprised youtube haven't removed this.

It's okay, I'm not squeamish but just wanted others to know what they are letting themselves in for. I flagged it with youtube.

That's exactly why I flagged it, if everyone else does the same it may get taken down. It serves no purpose other than morbidity factor.

You know what, I think this whole crash pics area should go.

I don't see the point in encouraging folk to put up vids like this.

If someone wants to post pics of their bent bike there are plenty of places on the forum where they can without having a crash pics section.

This sort of thing (a crash report area), and 'Through the grinder', can only be justified at all if it has some educational purpose. We don't need to watch what happens to a human body being run over by an 18 wheeler to learn anything about what happens, do we?

If there is a lesson to learn from a story or a video or photographs then there is some justification beyond tasteless or morbid voyeurism for publishing it. Otherwise, it's just a snuff movie, and I don't find that remotely edifying.

I think I have made my views on this subject very clear in the past.
I have shared the last moments of someones life post bike crash (16 year old boy in the woods near where I used to work) and witnessed a biker dying after an RTA in real life I sure as hell don't aim to relive those experiences.
These videos have no place On here or anywhere IMO.
Thanks to FBBs warning I didn't.

Here, here, biggles, KwH, chappers, etc. Get rid of this forum. What is the point of it other than to glorify someone else's misery. As to this vid I can't believe it's still up on youtube, or maybe it isn't but I have no intention of looking again to find out.

I PM'd Mr Dowds.....apparently it's a bit naughty and doesn't CROSS THE LINE so to speak...!!!!
it's not a crash...it's a fucking snuff movie, it shows some poor sod getting mashed to bits by an 18 wheel rig....

We all went mental about Brunstrom showing a decapitated biker....what right do we have to show this without the deceased's familys permission....

SB , take a fucking long look in the mirror!!!!

I think the moderators should enable each member to be able to delete any postings they make in this forum, or at least enable the 'edit' option permanently and not just for a limited time...

All other forums I frequent have these options, why not here?

Agree with above.
Why would anyone want to post such a sick vid?

But then people watch movies like Wolf Creek which has images that I will unfortunately, never be able to get out of my head now. People warned me but like a fool I went and watched it anyway to fill in those bike servicing hours. Now I can never forget "Head on a stick" but wish I could.

For some strange reason there is a time limit on editing or deleting.
Can't you just remove it Al?
I've regularly wanted to change some stupid post the next day after sobering up.
