Great idea and welcome.

I have done most of the south coast (I think the easy bit) and loved it. The Somerset through to Hampshire was the best. Don't know anything about the rest

If there is a group of you then you can share out the essential tools.

Insulation tape, cable ties, a bit of wire and araldite = the bodgers base pack-never leave home without it.

+2 good idea...Post up a time tableish sort of thing of where you expect to be at any given time.

Your obviously going to need certain bits and pieces that can't necessarily be carried long distances on a bike..

I'm sure us forumites will be happy to oblige with any bits you may need/Local knowledge of the best places for beer/ birds/ curries etc..

Ow do
First post after finding this on a Google search.

A few of us from work are doing the ride in early Sept we hope to get it done any where between 7 and 10 days for the 3500 miles only thing is we are doing it on C90's which should be interesting.

I also did a charity ride in June, covered 5000 miles in 5 days, that was kin hard work but raised around 1200 pounds for Riders for health so it was worth it in the end.

I'll keep an eye out on this thread, good luck with the ride and with the raising the money for charity.
