Smart Car-brand new, but 4 years old
      #35723 - 03/11/2008 15:26

Okay this is not a bike, but is something of a bargain.

It is my 80 year old mothers Smart Car and she has very nearly never driven it (she now has Alzheimers). It only has 1000 miles on the clock and that includes getting it to London from Dorset. It has spent it's life in a garage and been serviced (!?) once a year full MOT and TAX. I have taken it out for a few 100 mile there and back trips but that is about it.

It is a Smart Car Passion-top spec with all the bells and whistles stuff like alloy wheels aircon, extra large sun roof, ABS, uprated lights and has a (very neat/fun) manual/auto gearbox. I replaced the battery over the summer-the only thing that got used really.

Seems to do a very great many miles to the gallon. It is fun to drive (600 turbo) and having played with it is London is ridiculously easy to park- you can go in front wise to the pavement.

As I have only just got it here (London), no pics and I have not put it into the comics yet but basically a brand new smart car for £6500

PM me if interested-I plan to get it on the market soon.

Very nice.
If I was in the UK I would seriously consider it.

it's about 90 something.

for a car it actually feels a like a bike, in that if you floor it the front rises

if it were not for the auto gearbox and electronics it would probably be quite quick

as it is, best viewed as a town car

My mate's got one with the equivalent of a power commander on it. These things will wheelie and stoppie if you want them to. Still got 4 wheels mind...

My wife has a 2003 smart cabrio , Ive changed the engine and turbo to 700cc and it has an 85hp remap and a few other mods like shit off a shovel (I can't leave anything alone, bikes or cars). Excellent cars well recommended a bit like a bike 6 speed sequential gearbox.Thats where my last 3 penalty points for 67 in a 50 came from (empty dual carrigeway with no turn offs and a camera van behind some bushes).

Just advertised. I realise I got two (important) things wrong.

It is actually 698cc turbo (not 600) and we are looking for near £6,000, not £6,500 ooops!
