Anyone ever been? What did you think? The dates are available for next year at Brands but it is expensive. Is it money well spent or is it just a waste of time.

I've never done it myself but am considering booking up myself.
Everybody no matter what level starts from level one and has to work through wich makes it very expensive but all the reports I've heard are that the course is well worth it.

There was a documentary on TV about it and it did look very informative with good instructors.

I did it years and years ago at Brands-I think Keith Code or summit like that was instructing. It was a very interesting experience-going into corners without braking, riding without hands on the bars(using your knees to steer etc etc- yes its expensive BUT yes-I would recommend it to anyone if you can afford it. I learnt a lot that the Police training hadnt taught me and it really is a confidence building exercise(strangley soon after I had a bike to bike chase in Rochester-Kent. Me:BMW K1000 full kitted Police Traffic bike-Him: Nicked Kawasaki. At some stage he went off road across the tiered gardens. I followed him and caught him-IMO it was the course that helped)
Do it

Brands eh?

I am interested - Never got round to it this year but I was been thinking of doing two days back to back (I am a slow learner . IMO The set up and their approach is spot on. Andy Ibbot is a good guy too-I imagine he will be organising it.

like the sound of it going to Brands as that would remove accommodation cost for me.

June 16th is the better option for me. I still need more information before I part with that sort of money for a day. Will call them soon and find out exactly what happens on a days tuition.
