Im in the market for some new boots but Im having trouble with my calf fitting in most of the boots. I tried some sidi vertigo corsa's on the other day and they felt ssssoooooo nice
Are they any good or could the all knowing forum recommend some other boots???

The SIDI are excellent....I wear 'em... Frank Thomas are too tight in the calf for me as well, Diadora are OK , but very limited protection...
Rigger boots are ok if your poor....or ride a scooter..

Last 4 pairs have been Sidis. Love them. Never had fitting issues, and my legs and calves are not exactly, ahem, slender.

SIDIs = wellies ok if squeaky boots, crap toesliders. While I'm ranting why the fuck do boot manufacturers either have to make the toesliders either out of Plastic, Titanium, of Stainless Steel, whats wrong with Ali, Magnesium, or Ceramic inserts.

SIDI use plastic as standard when you buy them.....You can get hold of Ceramic toe sliders which is what I've got...£15 is all they cost me , and they been on the boots for over a year now..money well spent!

So the guy is saying that HE WAS IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE , and hit you , which means that you must have been overtaking (Which your allowed to do) and he has swerved onto the wrong side of the road into the oncoming flow of traffic then....I think that would add up to a charge of driving without due care and attention or if he's pushed you into the oncoming flow maybe even Dangerous Driving.........Either way it looks like he's dug himself a bit of a hole...

Do they make mag sliders for SIDIs? I have A*s with mag sliders but they don't spark thankfully at least mine don't it's the reason I bought them. I had a choice of A* and buy mag sliders, SIDI Vertigo Corsa with ceramic or Daytona and buy ceramic sliders between £480-£700 depending on boot . I opted for A* supertechs same price as SIDI Vertigo Corsas better protection IMO and not as noisy. I would have bought the SPIDI XP7R but they have stainless sliders same with Oxtar or TCX as they are now with titanium. Pisses me off that I am restricted to what I can buy. Before anyone suggests cornering with my toes on the pegs I do.

I like my Arlens they have the mag slidders but they do wear out quite quick but at £12 a set for both boots its not too bad as the mag inserts are not handed and i only tend to scrape the right boot.

I have a pair of Oxtar's they are good, but due to the Ti sliders I need a new set for racing, probably get another pair of Sidi's. I can't afford £600 on Daytona's although they are very tempting.
That said I don't tend to scrap my toes, no idea why.

I must admit they took a bit of getting used too at first as i hadnt put a bike boot on for some years and now find the fit fine but prefer the fit of my old XPD boots.
