What are your experiences, my 1st one was with Focused Events an I thought the organisation was good even tho I was wandering around like a lost sheep at the beginning, once the day started they stuck to the track timing brilliantly, The main reason i ask is because if you look at Brands website and go direct its a bit cheaper, but Focused wgehre so well organiseed do i stick with them? Ta Or do both?

I will use Focused but TBH I think Kevin Healy is a bit of a cock as are some of his instructors, Other than that good company well run days if a little over enthusiastic with the Red flag I also think they like to cram the punters in and will fit you into whatever group they want to get the cash in so sometimes you get a big disparity in abilities in a group which I think can be dangerous, I was put in the inters one day as the fast group was full and it fucked my day up until I was moved up and I had to stamp my feet to get that done even after a couple of crashes I will add Barry Andrews is a top bloke and I enjoy his days although his breifing can be fucking boring. As for MSV I like their days and try to book one of their days first if poss, well run and friendly staff the instructors actually know what they are on about and give good advice and the last time I attended one of their days well organised groups with plenty of track-time although they can be Black Flag happy and don't like what they consider close overtaking they say 5-6 feet but in the fast group 3 should be ample. I did a day with No Limits two years ago which I enjoyed much more relaxed atmosphere less stringent rules less disparity in group abilities overall better riders.

Focused have been ok i agree with Chappers on the instructor point,I asked for some help with paddock as i felt i was not getting round it as quick as i felt i could the reply was that i was in the wrong group and after asking me what bike i had he told me that i would leave him down the straight ? "what a cock" i didnt want to race him.He reluctantly offered some help if i came to see him later in the day which i didnt do. The GP club is ok "ish" and got my free trackday after me 8th day and my 10 % off every one booked after the 4th day but i had to chase several times for the confirmation,i didnt get my free photo,T shirt or place in the Focused hospitality for a BSB round even though i chased them for all of these. I wasnt an MSV fan to start with but do now prefer them as they dont have a mates can do no wrong policy like some others do and i find them friendly and helpful.

I've been with focused once, never again. Booked inters got put into novice for some reason all morning, then got moved back up at lunch time because I asked and was severely pissed off, and had nearly been taken out a couple of times by cretins.
I also hate the way they run a 2 lap sighting session at the start of the day. I think that's stupid. You effectively lose a session, they should run it like everyone else where you have a couple of sighting laps then it's full pace.
And that Kevin guy's an unfunny sarcy idiot, the Barry guy's a good bloke though.

I have done 20 with focused and a few with No Limits and to be honest they are both good. Focused Events give you the GP club and 10% off Demon Tweeks but as others have said they can be a little difficult especially if Kevin is in charge of the day, Barrie was a great bloke but he has since left focused events but Mark is a god guy and trys to help out as much as possible. No Limits are relaxed and their policy of the chequred flag only means its the end of the session and not NO OVERTAKING which I think is safer and it speeds up the time from when a session ends to the next one starting. I am booked on a Focused Events trackday on the 21st but I dont think I will be doing all that many this year what with doing some racing as well. At the end of the day a trackday with whoever is going to be great as long as you go with the flow and just try to enjoy it if you have a problem there are good people out there who will help and it is seriously addictive.
