any 1 got any info on buying bikes in the states (massachusetts) being from the u.k my mum lives there with all the stuff social security no. american licence ect but i don't can i buy and insure 1 out there or not ??? cheers

It may differ from State to State. Here in Michigan, they took my driver's licence for the bill of sale (I bought it from a dealer), you'll need a US residence to register your ownership, and to get plates you'll need proof of insurance (which could be done online with no issues). If you put the bike in your Mum's name I don't see why you should run into any problems.
