True, true!..Just seems to me that they missed a chance to really do something dynamic. Here's a bike that's more than likely gonna take top honours in all the coming shootouts, get plaudits wherever it goes, even take top spot from the Blade, yet it looks stale in terms of design. It's too safe. You're right though, there's no accounting for taste, I'm sure they'll be queing out the door!..Sounds wicked though.

I think with the STD cans it's fuggly but with the Akros it's nicer I would have liked to have seen an R6 style exhaust and M1 styling but I suspect that Yamaha were restricted by the Euro IV (or whatever the fuck they are now)regs.

Damn it, it's going to be hard not to buy one. We had a Yamaha truck come in with just one bike the other day and I was excited thinking we were finally getting one. Turned out to be a new Vmax. Cool bike, but not what I wanted to see

They sound awesome ive seen one listened to one and got blown away by Steve Mercer on one at Brands an awesome bike and i think will be the bike of 2009.

We finally got a red and white one in. I thought it would be gone as soon as we uncrated it, but so far nobody's given it a second look Somebody needs to buy it before I have a weak moment and snatch it up.

07 it is then IMO better VFM, the 09 may be a move forwards but depending on discount the 07 may be a better option although a lot depends on how long you'll be keeping the bike all new bike take a hit just wheeling out of the showroom depends how much.
