What should I do-what should I do
      #38316 - 28/01/2009 19:52

Ive decided that I will buy a new bike. Not so world shattering but actually I have to consider that time waits for no man and being a realist my reactions are or will get slower. It will actually be my last real motorbike as I dont do choppers-cruisers etc and naked are fun but a bit staid on looks. So I want summit a bit special in the superbike league-summit that stands out a bit and that is all show AND go.(Ducatis are not a financial option)
So enter the GSX-R 1000 Rizla MotoGp replica-package includes a choice of pipe system(see my Yoshi Gp Evo 11 question) complete derestriction system- paddock stand- 2 sets of tyres-team shirt- hat-keyfob -3 year warrenty AND tickets to any mainland European MotoGP meeting for 2 with VIP treatment(Rizla)-the price is 3.200,000 Huf(300Huf=1 GBP) pacing up and down-what shall I do? (dont even know the UK price as Crescent hide it)

Go for it.

One last hurrah before rheumatism takes a hold, and ruins your enjoyment of sportsbikes completely.

So, too late for me, then.......

Yeh, go for it Immi plus the GP pipes, and add some Brembos if it does not come with them already. You know it makes sense.

Have you bought it then? looks nice BTW the price works out about 10K considering the Yoshi GP pipes retail at 1k it don't seem like a bad deal if you include the price of the paint job.

Looks good but why didn't they paint the cat cover blue to match?

....aah maybe the pipes don't allow for it.

yup-its been ordered. Sadly I couldnt get the GP Evo 11 system-it wasnt in the list of exhausts as an option because of the costs no doubt(bastards) so Ive gone for a full yoshi titanium system (with the y-joint, so no Kat) and carbon-I think their called "Tre or Tri" race pipes-they have 2 exit mouths one below the other, and look very yummy in a "chappers" sort of way -derestriction kit-Motogp painted wheels-tail tidy with led and all the other bits and bobs.(The paint job is actually from the Suzuki factory) BTW the dealer was setting up a "normal" GSX-R 1000 today with the same system on his dyno and they did make your ears bleed(112db and 11 bhp over standard-with the derestriction kit ) Trouble is I get some many differing figures for what the"standard" bhp is
I will collect it on the 14th March-the weathers crap and they have to write to "Pops" for the carbon cans so they may as well keep it warm clean and dry for me till then
Im Caparossi me

I have seen those yoshi's in the metal+carbon and they are LOVELY. IMO better choice than the GP's and you *will* get more power from them too.

Check out Evotech exhaust hangers (I presume no pillion) they are really well and acurately made and the black ones would go great with the Yoshi's
