Horses for courses. Remember both make many different *types* of filters.
IE some are made as direct replacement for OE items (no adjustment for fueling necessary) to thinner "race" items that filter far less and but of course let more air through-many race teams only use these once for a race meet. Both manufacturers claim better and more consistent air flow and certainly my own experience would back that.
Personally I trust K&N, I have used them for years. My current one is a reusable type that can be washed and re-oiled. This I find much more use than any other feature, as three months of wintery riding will fill it with crap.
Pipercross make more or less the same item and frankly I don't think there is huge amount of difference. What is important is to choose the right *type* for you and keep it clean or replace it. A clogged air filter will slow throttle response and reduce performance.

I have used both types, on both car and bike, and I would recommend the paper type (k+n). The difference is nothing that you would notice, performance wise. K+Ns are better for warranty and after sales maintainence, i.e. air filter cleaning agents etc.

Don't know I'm guessing he got fucked over by the Tiger, teach him to wind up the wildlife. What I'm pretty sure of is that he's just filled his pants.

Yea, for sure a pant filling moment. It is strange that the Tiger quite obviously is going for the bloke on the Elephant and not the Elephant itself. Is it that Elephants dont taste very good or the fact that the Tiger sees a threat directly from the human? I like the way that bloke is thrashing around with the little stick, needs something more like a rifle! I have seen the clip somewhere before and that ended in the same place, would be good to see what happened next.

I think they might be knives or spikes he's throwing, hunting the local man eating tiger by any chance. I found it on the net and yes I have also seen it before. Just found this. http://www.livevideo.com/video/embedLink...-elephant-.aspx

She just gave him a little nip!
Fuckers got what they deserved. These Elephant handlers have some pretty wicked (in the bad sense) kit to control the elephants. Like an ice-pick which he was probably trying to hit it with. Brave lad. Typical India. Had to laugh. Were they sure they had crammed enough people on those Elephants

spikes with sharp hooks aren't they? I'm amazed that they get so upset that a tiger might dare to kill a cow or two, chances are she had a litter of cubs she needed to feed.

I may well be wrong but I saw a bit on'telly recently where they were trying to *save* rogue tigers and they used elephants to get about with reasonable safety.
Some areas of India do suffer a lot from Tiger attacks and the villigers have very little defense either physical or in law (the tiger is protected).
So I am not sure the vid actually shows them baiting a Tiger it could be they were actually trying to ward him off.
The bit I saw on the telly showed them darting tigers that had gone a bit off piste and munched humans. Having found the Tiger (on elephant back) they relocated them to non, or thinly populated areas.
It is not a job that I would like, although the rescued Tiger cubs were mighty cute.
