Im about to track my 04 R1 and want to take off the meta alarm that I had fitted when I bought it. Obviously I cant just cut the thing out, has anyone any experience in this, or is it something an auto elctrician would be able to sort out? Any advice appreciated

Chappers is (as usual) correct.
I made the mistake several years ago of trying a DIY alarm removal on a bike I'd just bought. To cut a long and painful story short - find someone who knows waht they're doing!

Turns out the dealer I got the bike from (and who fitted the alarm) was a bit of a muppet. I just unplugged it and lobbed it in the bin. |Doesnt sound like he knew what he was doing, yet I still got a thatcham certificate saying it was professionally installed..
