Yeah, great unless the races overrun due to weather or loads of crashes. Then you miss the end of the last race unless you + the programme after!!!! They really should have it automatically carry on if the programme overruns.

I had to make do with online SBK. My God what a load of shite. Continual outages and the commentator should be shot, in race two Spies was apparently a Desert rat, a tornado from Texas (how original), a freight train, a desert storm, and BigBen. Apart from the cliche ridden drivel, he constantly missed or confused riders further back from the current leader, with little or no info on the brits.
To use another cliche, Ben Spies looks to be the real deal too.

Some very good racing, instead of an F1 funeral cortege..

Just thank your lucky stars you don't have to watch AMA races. The only thing worse than listening to Freddie Spencer gloat on himself is watching the racing

Very happy with the sport, rugby is a bit bollocks anyway really... Here's the rant:
The Edinburgh MCN show was A COMPLETE FUCKING WASTE OF TIME AND CASH. A flea market! A car-boot sale? How much shit-quality, imported, sweatshop produced pish (Yes Hyosong?were there but i'm on about the clothing)can be contained under the one (several, bizarrely laid out, actally) roof?!
God help the person that has to test the build quality/crash testworthyness of anything purchased from any of those gypo stalls. I was reminded of when the fun-fair came to town as a kid... Burglary went up, e-coli was devoured, teen pregnancy stats took a (short term) boost and everyone recieved a flammable deathtrap soft(!?) toy as a prize for mastering some pikey's bent-barrelled air rifle, eventually (aim aprx one foot left of target, win that diseased fish you never wanted). It was a trading standards wet dream.
Bike wise, the star of the show IMO was the new BMW superbike- Wearing unfinished pre-preg carbon race bodywork- was absolutely gorgeous. Everything else on display was pretty old hat. The only other thing to raise my eyebrows was an old Z1 engined harris magnum 2 special (Lifetime ambition of mine to build a mag'4 Gixxer 11 remember those?) Obviously this show is a Mickey-mouse production compared to the NEC, but was considerably better in recent years. I felt like a complete wanker for dragging some mates over to it...Ripped off, pissed off. What a very sorry start to the summers motorbikeshow cavalcade that will be heading your way soon. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.
