OK the latest in my long line of problems has surfaced now I have put the bike back together after is crash at Brands last year, I have put the new race fairing on and its looking like a bike again now! one problem though is the tyre is touching the 'V' part of the fairing at the bottom! the bike used to have non standard yokes but following the crash I have had to put standard ones on with the new forks, is there any way that I can make some adjustments to stop the tyre touching the fairing?? any help is appreciated.

have you had the frame jigged up and checked? TBH it shouln't be touching not on a jap bike unless the forks are dropped too far too short, frame is bent or bodywork ot fitted correctly.

Could well just be shite fairings on the flip side. Some really are crap quality.
It would definately be worth checking your forks and frame for straightness before you go buy ing new fairings.
If you're not racing you could just cut the fairing to fit, but if you're racing you need the bottom enclosed for the oil catchment regs.

Now I'm not the most mecanically minded person, why don't you get a jigsaw and cut the bit off fairing that is touching the wheel heypresto!! problem solved
