Garage clearout time...All the honda stuff must go
      #40071 - 19/03/2009 16:12

This stuff was for a RR-Y 929 'blade but is pretty generic for most 4 stroke hondas: Genuine Honda 'Yuasa' battery P/N 31500-MCJ-642 done a couple of thousand miles but is as good as new and used as a spare and treated well. Whats a new one cost? £48+. Make me an offer.

Silkolene COMP4 10w-40 4ltr synthetic oil (unopened) and a new Genuine honda oil filter and compression washer kit (P/N 15010-MCE-H51) Thats the same fitment for all the CBR/VFR/CB/ETC/ETC and costs £30 + £8 new. so make me an offer.

Haynes manual, Good condition, Covers 929 and 954 'Blades '00 to '03. again open to offers, think it cost me just shy of £20 new.

Genuine Generator cover gasket set P/N 11392-MCJ-000 specific to 929 blade I think. Still wrapped, Cost about a tenner, again make me an offer.

'Hate to see any of it gathering dust as they are all useful to someone, don't be too cheeky with the offers and we'll work out cheap postage/delivery as and when. I'm a skint AIRCRAFT ENGINEER (That's supposed to give you confidence that this stuff hasn't been mangled/bodged at some point)and would happily use any of this kit (not lost a plane yet...) PM me if interested.

It'll be on Ebay in a week if I don't hear anything.

Any regular ebayers out there (I've bought plenty but sold nowt)? What are the best sites to use to work out postage costs? Had a reasonable offer from a guy in the states for everything, job lot...but SURELY p&p will be more than the stuff's worth? (offer is about half of new values so $105).
I did tell the guy (hello mate) he's probably as well buying local, but ain't heard back yet.
Any thoughts appreciated to speed things up...

I found the Post Office(Parcel Force http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/home ) was pretty good, They have an online pricing guide.

Other than that, Business Post(UK Mail) could sometimes work out cheaper for the oversea's, bulkier parcels.

Mucho-thanko Ms Odoon. BTW is that a Burns or Gene Kelly reference? I know the actual Brig O'Doon well, it's just a few miles away and regularly stopped at for a fag (still off 'em) and a pee if passing on the bike. Lovely place, mooched about it as a teenager so have many's a Brig tale to tell!

This means (at least) you know i've peed on Brigodoon!

Parcelforce take the piss financially try http://www.parcel2go.com/ I used them to post a saddle to Finland UPS and DHL have international sites too they are all cheaper than Parcelforce.
There have been incidents of people paying through paypal then claiming the item hasn't arrived then claiming the money back through paypal then you'll be out of pocket you'll want it tracked and signed for, at least proof of postage. Stay well away of Western Union.
cheques are good once cleared. Lastly bear in mind that parcels can take up to 3 months to get to the US and look into customs forms you might have to clearly label all parts as used.
Trust no one.

Cheers Chap' it has now officially became toooooooo complicated. Think they'll go on ebay with a 'collection preferred' thingy. Although I was looking forward to importing some oil to the U.S of A!

Hehe! Brigadoon is my all time favourite film

Although the 'Tam O' Shanter' is an exceptional work of Burns.

It's not that hard they pay you in advance you package ring up get pacel collected jobs a goodun, But there are things I wanted to make you aware of. All the customs stuff is done when you arrange the delivery, although I must say it can be a PITA.
