I haven't been to a race meeting possibly since the old Transatlantic days or maybe a GP at Silverstone, Barry Sheene was racing, so its been some years, but I went to the NG meeting at Brands today, I thought it was brilliant loads of great racing, the sun was shining, we heard the crackle of a two stroke race bike and some fairing bashing thrown in for good measure, no queues to get in or out or for the loos, go anywhere you want without getting ripped off. I would like to thank anybody who raced or was involved.
It also got me thinking that some of these lads are only 14 or 15, notably Danny Buchan, I know I'm no expert but bloody hell he's fast he carries so much speed into the corners, but what happens to all this talent? We should dominate track racing, but then what do I know.
One downside today was that Joe Symonds had what looked like a bad crash on the warm up lap of the power bike race, I hope he's ok, does anybody know?
Looking forward to the Bemsee meeting on the 18th April, maybe team MLC will be there, I'm totally hooked on these club meets.

I was driving past yesterday and heard the bikes. I was so tempted but had other things to do. If I went through the gate that would have been it for the day. Danny Buchan is 16 soon and will be straight onto a 600, should be a quick on an R6. He was a good second a lap quicker than the others in the 400 class!
