All over for James?
      #40788 - 29/03/2009 16:40

Jeez, another massive high side for Toseland in Jerez. With a nightmare pre season like that one, can't be long before Tech 3 start looking elsewhere!
Feel for the guy, I really do. Edwards must be creaming his pants though

He's doing a Stoner. Lob it at the scenary loads, win the next season's championship.

At least he's trying.......taking it beyond the limit..I was watching it on tv.....paused it and rewound...

He was trying SO hard....

The bike spat him off, no one could have saved that...!!!

He's probably trying a little too hard to keep up with Colin who has been baiting him.

Not sure he has to keep up with Colin. I reckon JT's a better rider. I saw it and he was just trying too hard, finding the limits. That's his job, it's just the bike thought otherwise

He's had a shocking pre-season though. With his confidence and pride so dented, you just can't see him making in roads to the sharp end of the table anytime soon. For his sake I really hope things improve, it'd be gutting if Tech 3 let him go!...

either him or Edwards will be joining the dole que next year I think. I hate to say it but I've always been an Edwards fan not so much James in the past although I'd like to see him build on his performances from last year.
Lets hope for his sake he's got the crashing out of his system eh.

Me too.
Edwards has more personality in his little finger etc etc.
James is so irritating because everything that comes out of his mouth is sponsor promotion.
Tosser.
And Edwards is the better rider. He beat Bayliss to the championship.

So did Toseland!!..
I'd rather see Edwards go, he's been in the paddock too long and ain't done much. James has got the hunger and aggression needed to do well in GP, that's if he can stay on his bike of course!

I think there's more to come from Toseland yet.

He may not be 'personality of the year' but he's a good if not great rider. Haven't most riders had years where they've done nothing but leap off the thing? Somebody has already mentioned Stoner, and he's not done too badly. All James needs now is a self-riding motorbike.

There is no denying that James is a world class rider but with the current crop of new riders on the horizon I think this year is his make or break year, the pressure is on as it was at Donnington.
I hope for his sake that he can pull himself together and has gotten all the crashing out of the way in practise. In his defence I wouldn't read too much into Colin's pre season testing form as Colin always does well at that time but the testing never seems to translate to races.

Confidence must be low low low if he gets on the pace after this it will show his strenght and will to produce the goods but it will take some doing i fear.

It will have taken a bit of a battering but the biggest lesson he should learn is not to go hammer and tongs on cold fucking tyres.
