Does sprocket change affect speedo reading

Hello everyone. Have a 01 bandit 600. Changed the front sprocket from a 15 tooth to a 14 tooth. Am i now getting a false speed reading does anyone know.

Yes.
I have gone +2 on the rear which is less than you and had to adjust with the Speedohealer you will see in the above link, -8%.
The Speedohealer did f. up my gear indicator a bit.
Now I'm going -1 on the front as well which should really screw it up.

yes you will have a reading that is +6.7% faster than before

bear in mind your speedo will already be about +5.5% already, as all manufacturers do this to allow for speedo accuracy changing as the tyre wears. so in total your speedo will be about 12.2% faster than reality

For easy in head recalaculation think of it as being just over 10% optamistic-so for a reading of 33, you will be doing just under 30, for a reading of 77 just under 70, or if you are flat on the tank down hill 200 will actually be just under 180

Also remember that you will now clock up miles 12.2% faster too.

My speedo healer did not cock up a gear indicator, but mines on a Suzuki.

If you look at the speedo healer online calculator, remember it is telling you how many percent you need to shave off ie it will give you a *minus* number.
