Rather quick bike methinks
      #41153 - 09/04/2009 13:53

I was down at the Suzuki dealership yesterday when the lads were dyno-ing a customers race bike.Seems this guy loves racing and indulges his passion in local club racing level at the Pannonia Ring-thats "local club racing".Why do I repeat this? Well its seems he has just had fitted a set of Youshi race-cams to his K7 GSXR-R 1000 to go with the existing Youshi full flow tit race exhaust system and the lads were doing the check runs-it produced a staggering(well for me anyway) 209 bhp!!!!!-(the bike has all the usual kit on it-Brembos front and rear/Ohlins front and rear/Marceshini Wheels etc etc)but standard clocks/bars and damper. Then I read today in the Jan 2008 SB Test of Jon Reas HM-Plant Honda that made "only" 210.
And our club racer is racing this at "club level" BTW hes a (power crazed)greengrocer FFS-must sell a lot of apples
