hi everyone.i had a result today and sold my 99 r6 for 500 quid more than i paid for it.
So i am going to buy a newer 600.I fancied an 08 r6 but i have got 5k to spend.
after looking i have discovered i can buy a 58 reg kawasaki zx6r with less than a thousand miles on the clock for less than 5k.
so whats your opinion on the 08 zx6r as a road bike? i really think i am going to buy it.would you buy one over an r6?
all the r6's in my price range are 06-07 with too many miles on.i wanted an 08 r6 but they are more than my budget.
so what do you think? should i buy one?

ok after all this talk of 600's i completely changed my mind whe i saw the bike i have just bought.saw it on bike trader website and it was a bargain. 2003 yamaha yzf-r1 with only 3000 miles on the clock!!!! its absolutley mint still feels new when you ride it.the guy seemed like he had more money than sense and wasnt really bothered about the money.i got it for 3495 and he threw in a pair of brand new 2ct's because i moaned the back tyre was bald.he was caught drink driving and banned for 3 years in 2005.bike has sat in his garage ever since.he took it to our local bike shop, new battery, service and fresh fuel and shes a winner. i am well happy with it.i have never had a 1000 before and its a welcome change to my old r6. I have heard people say once you buy a litre bike you never go back and i think this could be the case with me. just need to find a racefit growler now........
