How you doin guys, heres the thing i am going to college to do motorcycle mechanics....(really need a career change from what i doing just now) and i really want to do all the servicing etc on my own bike but right now i just dont have the confidence. Got the workshop manuals and techbooks but not started the course, was even looking into the local garage to see if they would let me come down a couple hours a day and watch their mechanics do their thing but i got knocked back from that due to insurance policies and health and safety.
In your opinion where is the best place for a wannabe mechanic to start and i really do at the moment have a basic knowledge.

They'll teach you all you need to know on the course.
