ive just bought a 2002 r6 import is there any difference to the uk 1 and how do i change clocks from kmh to mph thanx lee

Depends where it's been imported from.

If it's a french import it'll be restricted to 100bhp.

If it's european or american the headlights will dip the wrong way(assuming they haven't been changed when it was first imported).

If it's a californian bike it'll have all sorts of extra emissions gubbins, mainly a canister under the seat to soak up and convert any fuel vapours from the tank, amoungst other things.

As you've found out the clocks will be in kmh, and the temperature may well be in degrees F.

If it's Japanese the idiot stickers will be in a different language.

Read the online R6 manual link yes you will need to fill the boxes in,if you think im going to do it you will have a long wait.
