Does anyone know if gloves can be altered?Reason I ask is I bought a new pair they fit lovely except for the fingers.I'm wondering if I could get the fingers shortened by about half inch.

On the end of the fingers. 
Or you could try Hideout leather.

let us know how much it costs. I have short fingers and cant get any gloves to fit properly

It cost me £60 for the alteration and £10 p&p.

Sorry I didn't see where you came from,Hideout are in Essex near Saffron Walden,you will need to take your gloves to them so they can see how much to take off.It's a long way from Rochdale but would be worth it if you wanted something else altered at the same time.Check their web site,just google Hideout.
